Our proprietary fraud prevention software utilizes numerous automated tactics to mitigate the fraud rampant in the ERCOT market, resulting in a bad debt rates often under 2%. Traditional credit reporting agencies are unable to catch the identity theft tactics that are being used in the ERCOT market. Our methodology reviews key data points gathered from the enrollment to validate orders originating from all order sources (web, call center and api).
