Billing Application

The Lone Star BillPro proprietary billing application is fully automated and can integrate with any external EDI vendor necessary for implementation. Clients have scaled to over 100,000 invoices monthly while requiring only ¼ of an analyst-level FTE support in total. The billing application supports full ERCOT billing as well as bill ready/rate ready markets.

• Pre-Billing Data Processing and validation
• Real time processing of 810/867 flat files as they are received to ensure they attach to a customer account.
• Creation of all billable items (ex: late fees, bill credits, monthly customer service fees)
• Bill generation with full flexibility regarding rate, bill items and promotions including complex billing such as time of use billing functionality, ancillary passthrough charges, solar buy back credits, and additional 3rd party products and services.
• Identification and management of exceptions (billing exception rate well under 1%)
• Full bill audit functionality including downloadable spreadsheet format for review of large data and bill preview capability in pdf format of individual bills.
• User created use case auditing for further review of all bills that meet specified criteria.. Fully automated process for sending bills to printer/emails
• Queue based Disconnection for Non-Payment process to ensure accuracy with automated Reconnect process. Automated AutoPay management that allows for payment drafting for bill due dates based on the user criteria
• Automated TDSP remittance management to aggregate 810 transactions to create 820 files that submit via EDI to the TDSPs on due dates
